THE LISTING
About this vehicle
Ford Fiesta XR2 from 1988I absolutley love these little Fiestas as they remind me of the best years of my life in the UK , having had a few of them in my twenties and thirties the nolstagia runs deep! So I bought this one two years ago as it's a solid example, having lived it's life in the south of france, there's no rust, rot or big holes welded up.I bought it as a light project, with the plan to get it complete, use it for a few years and then sell it to add to my retirement funds when I get older, however, the French do not hold these vehicles in the same regard as we do!! They are loyal to their old French classics and so finding parts is not easy and the value is just not there for these cars here, I was told by the old owner the engine had been rebuilt but there's no paperwork to verify that, with that being said, the compression is very good and it starts on the button. It's missing a few bits and pieces which I'll try to list ;Original steering wheel (old owner put some silly race wheel on it), roof lining, parcel shelf, boot floor spare wheel cover, left and right door cards, correct front bumper, it currently has a standard mk2 Fiesta bumper without the thin red moulding, interior light and clock, door rubbers are a bit worn so should be replaced, some dashboard switches, there may be some other small, minor parts but that's about it.Price is negotiable within reason
I'm close to airports - Beziers, Carcassonne, Monpellier, PerpignanMy number is +33 (0)781333758 and I use Whatsapp
