About this vehicle

Here is my 1998 Vauxhall Calibra 16v.

I bought this years ago and  I had planned to sort it out and take it to shows etc.

However, at the age of almost 75 and with so many projects I don’t think it will ever get done. Its time for someone else to have a go.

 I’ve had it for probably 6 or 7 years. It has been undercover all that time.  When I first bought it I checked it over and started to sort it out. I am sure I fitted new front pads and 2 new front tyres.  Then I removed the fuel tank and fitted a new fuel pump in the tank and replaced a lot of the fuel lines.

Although I got fuel to the injector rail it would never start unless I used easy start in the inlet.   I don’t think the injectors were working. So I replaced the injector relay but with no joy.

I then put it back under cover and there it sat.

It’s a pretty clean car, interior is not bad apart from the headlining hanging down at the rear and a small section of the drivers seat and bit tatty.( see photo)

You will have to apply for a V5, I don’t have a V5 but do have the keys.
