THE LISTING
About this vehicle
This is a very rare Cresta and especially hard to find now.Registered as an historic vehicle therefore m.o.t. and tax exempt. Full v5 in my name.Registered new in 1963 from dealer KJ Baker & Co in Dorking and supplied to a Mrs E. Jones in Windsor Berks. (Owner service booklet certificate inc). This lovely classic Cresta is a true survivor and has obviously been looked after and cared for in all of its 63 years. Its previous owner was a member of the Vauxhall Cresta owners club.It benefits from new rear brake drums/shoes and rear wheel cylinders along with new front brake discs and calipers. The engine has just been serviced with new oil, points and condensor, new spark plugs. The compression on all 6 cylinders is equal at ' 160 psi on each cylinder '.It has a new ignition coil and a new carburettor fitted. The tyres have excellent tread. The interior is in extremely good condition. All the doors lock and the car starts on the button. It doesn't burn oil and doesn't leak water. The heater and blower fan work.Windows are etched with the registration number. The steering is sharp. The underneath of the vehicle is in very good condition and has been extensively waxoyled. All lights and electrics work well.It has also had a radiator flush and new antifreeze. The body has in the past been painted to a very high standard but now needs a little tlc here and there. The interior features a lovely bench seat and column gear change gearbox, clutch and drive train perfect). It needs a battery clamp fitting ( I have mislaid it. If I find it before the sale I will fit it ).American styling, a true head turner.A lovely rare piece of Vauhall history, ready to drive and enjoy.THIS CAR IS IN THE SOUTH OF SCOTLAND!PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU ARE NOT REALLY INTERESTED BECAUSE ITS A WASTE OF MY TIME AND YOURS.I WILL REQUIRE A £250 AT THE END OF THE AUCTION.YOU ARE BIDDING TO BUY NOT TO LOOK!!.CASH ON COLLECTION.Thank you for looking.Vehicle specification
