About this vehicle
One careful owner from new. Super low mileage, just under 45,000 miles (44,947).
MOT'd until October. Has some advisories but none excessive and it runs really well. Electric windows and power steering.
After a visit to a mechanic there is an intermittent drain on the battery if the car is not used. The mechanic was unhelpful but we managed to narrow it down to the hazards and horn. We pulled out the one fuse for both those things and that has solved the problem. It's simply a matter of putting the fuse back in place when driving, or if you use the car regularly it should be OK to leave it in (we only used the car once a week). Or you might have a better mechanic than ours who can fix the problem permanently.
There are some minor, mainly cosmetic issues: the plastic clip on one side of both visors is broken but they still work; the central locking works but the car can only be unlocked from the passenger side (it locks from both sides so is probably fixable); the radio currently does not work properly. There are a few rust spots.
A great little car and a rare find these days. A true classic.
