Austin Mini Clubman Estate Turbo 1310 Big SpecAustin Mini Clubman Estate fitted with a 1310 modified metro turbo engine.
This car is a project and will need to be trailered away due to the engine having a blown head gasket between cylinders.
I’m selling this car to fund my business.
Engine is a metro turbo block bored out to 1310cc with omega cast pistons with a 10cc dish. The short engine was built by Steve Benross from turbominis forum.
The block has been dry decked to allow better cooling around cylinder 4. The rods have been fitted with ARP rod bolts. It has a Avonbar phase 2 cam shaft. Adjustable alloy duplex timing chain. New oil pump, water pump, cam followers and bearings. It has the desirable turbo 6581 crank which is meant to have been hardened from factory.
It’s fitted with a Minispares lightened verto flywheel, paired with a RTS clutch so it’s capable of handling the torque and power produced by the turbo.
It’s got a straight cut close ratio gearbox, the Minispares clubman kit. It has a Minispares X-pin diff fitted and a 2.9 final drive.
It has a Benross cylinder head fitted, updated springs, stainless valves, 35.6mm inlets. 28cc chambers gives roughly 8.4:1 compression ratio. It is drilled for 11 studs and fitted with Minispares competition head stud kit.
It has a Minispares super cool 2 core rad.
Fusion fabrications stainless exhaust manifold and down pipe fitted with a Chinese GT1752 turbo. It does come with a genuine garrett spare as well.
Metro turbo inlet manifold with turbo HIFF44, malpassi fuel pressure regulator. Stainless steel plenum chamber.
AH fabrications intercooler.
Play mini stainless exhaust system.
Megajolt ecu.
Facet lift pump feeding a swirl pot in the boot then that feeds a metro turbo fuel pump.
Racetech dual oil pressure and temp gauge. Racetech boost gauge. AEM wide band gauge fitted.
Adjustable bottom arms and tie rods. Minispares hi-los fitted all round. Gaz lowered dampers fitted all round. Minispares red spot cones fitted on the front, new ones on the rear.
Vinyl roof with britax weather shield sun roof.
Minisport 7.9” 4 pot calipers fitted with solid discs. Braided brake lines.
Mini special wheels fitted with yoko A032 tyres.
Heavy duty wiper blades and arms.
Adjustable top engine steady, additional gearbox steadies.
Car has previously prior to me owning it had a new front end and some other welding done to it. Since I owned it I had the front shock mounts repaired along with a crack on the inner wing and the top engine steady bracket welded back on.
Probably forgotten loads!
Car is registered as historic so it’s tax and mot exempt. Prior to it going on the road I did have it MOTd. You can check the history online.
