For sale is my Mk1 1982 Vauxhall Astra 1300S showing just 68,000 miles. This is a fantastic rolling restoration project. It comes loaded with hundreds of pounds worth of brand-new upgrades,  and essential mechanical parts already fitted, making it a great head-start for any classic Vauxhall builder.

Wheels & Tyres

·        Wheels: Fitted with Minilite wheels that completely transform the look of the car.

·        Tyres: Covered in good tyres all around, including one brand-new tyre just fitted.

Engine, Mechanicals & New Parts Fitted
The car runs and drives well. It has benefited from a massive mechanical overhaul using top-tier parts:

·        Brand New Weber Carburettor: Fitted and running, massively improving reliability over the varajet unit.

·        Brand New Sportex Exhaust System: Installed and gives the car a great period-correct tone.

·        Brand New Fuel System: New fuel tank+lines and brand new fuel sender unit installed.

·        Brand New Cooling System: New radiator and new water pump fitted.

·        Engine Maintenance: New timing belt oil and coolant plus electronic ignition fitted.

Suspension & Brakes

·        Front: Already lowered on premium, brand-new Bilstein shocks.

·        Rear: Matching lowered rear springs are included in the sale (not yet fitted, will come in the boot).

·        Brakes: Please note the car needs a new brake servo.

Bodywork & Welding Required (The Project Part)
To be completely transparent, the car requires structural welding before it can return to the road:

·        Boot Floor: Requires welding repairs.

·        A-Pillars (A-Posts): Requires welding repairs.

·        The rest of the shell is OK paint is just rattle can satin black rustoleum. Tailgate bottom holed.

Would recommend recovering this home due to brakes and needs a good going through iv only driven it about 20 miles in 2 years.
