THE LISTING
About this vehicle
Peugeot 205 Mi16 Fast Road/Track Car for sale.
I am looking to sell my much loved 205 GTI as something more sensible is needed for a new job with a longer commute. If you were building a track day spec 205 that can still be used on the road – this is 99% of the spec to choose!
The 205 is at a stage now where it can be driven to a trackday, driven hard all day and then driven home again, keeping up with a lot more expensive machinery in the process! I’d describe this as a ‘clubsport’ 205, keeping the carpets, glass and some of the dash. It is very much a performance-oriented car, with an amazing turn in and predictable rear end. It’s done 20+ trackdays in the last 8years of my ownership and been developed into the car it is today. I’m now using it less and less so difficult to justify a dedicated track car when I already have another 205.

Bad Points
It is a 38 year old car that has been driven hard, so bodywork is not perfect. Main defect is a dent/crease just above the offside rear wheel. The gel coat of the bonnet has some cracks in it (does not affect main structure). None which is noticeable from a distance.
Viewings welcome.
This car is very fun and I will be sad to see it go. It has been modified to work well on track, so the ride is firm and quite noisy.
Comes with loads of the original literature and a folder full of receipts.
Open to sensible offers. Thanks for looking.
