1990 BMW E30 Saloon
Bought the car back in January as I've always wanted one, but realistically I have too many other cars to look after and don't have the time for it. 
The car runs and drives okay and has an MOT until December, but has a cold starting issue. It has always started, but can take a few tries, and idles a bit low for a minute or two once it does. I've had no problems with it cutting out once running, and when it's up to temperature it starts and fine. 
The jacking points are all solid, as are the floors and chassis rails. The battery tray has a bit of surface rust but is solid, sun roof and leading edge of the bonnet have some bubbling, the bottom of the driver's wing has a patch of surface rust, and there's a small patch on the rear valance. Not too bad for an unrestored E30.
I've done a bit of work tidying up the interior, doing maintenance, and trying to get to the bottom of the starting issue, but it's time to move it on to someone who can give it the attention it deserves.

  • Starting issue when cold; seems reluctant to start and then idles low from cold, but runs and starts fine once warm.
