THE LISTING

About this vehicle

1966 Vauxhall Viva HA 90 SL – Rare Restoration Project – 1057cc
A genuine 1966 Vauxhall Viva HA 90 SL 2-door saloon, offered as a restoration project.
The car is an early HA-series Viva and the rarer 90 SL specification, fitted with the 1,057cc petrol engine and 4-speed manual gearbox. The HA Viva was produced only until 1966 and surviving examples are now increasingly difficult to find. The SL specification is particularly desirable, with its distinctive contrasting bodyside flash and upgraded trim.
The car has been stored for some time and is currently partially dismantled, with extensive preparation/work already undertaken. It is therefore being sold as a non-running restoration project, with its condition and completeness best judged from the photographs and by inspection.
The original-style interior, engine and various other components are present, although the car will require substantial restoration and recommissioning before it can return to the road.
Specification:
* 1966* Vauxhall Viva HA* 90 SL* 1,057cc petrol engine* 4-speed manual gearbox* 2-door saloon* Rear-wheel drive* White with black side flash/trim* Right-hand drive* 2-axle rigid body* MOT exempt due to age
This would make an interesting project for a Vauxhall enthusiast or collector. HA Vivas have become increasingly scarce, and the 90 SL is an especially interesting version of the model.
Please note: this is a restoration project and is sold strictly as seen. It is not currently running and will require extensive mechanical, electrical, bodywork and cosmetic work. Prospective buyers are very welcome to inspect the vehicle before purchase.
The vehicle is located in Hull and is available for any inspection.
