About this vehicle
Here we have a 1978 Vauxhall Viva 1300 GLS. The GLS is basically the standard 1256cc Viva with the twin headlights and all of the trim of the larger-engined Magnum. As you can see from the pictures, this one doesn't look great on the outside, but look inside and things don't improve in the slightest. It used to be my daily drive to work, so was doing about 18 miles a day and that even included some hills, which were climbed at marginally more than snails' pace. It has now been stood since Covid lockdown, as heart surgery and having young children got in the way of doing anything with it, so will need recommissioning. It needs an indicator stalk, head-lining and the driver's window doesn't open. I bought it in this condition in 2012 and apart from stuff to get it through MOTs, haven't done anything to it since. All of the chrome trim, etc. is included, most of it.nicely polished, wrapped in tissue and boxed. Collection from Bedford - will need putting on a trailer.Vehicle specification
