A rare opportunity to acquire a comprehensively restored Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 1 with an extensive history file and photographic restoration record.

We acquired C929 DMJ in 2016 and have spent many years carefully restoring and rebuilding the car.

This is a genuine labour of love that is only being offered for sale because we are moving home and will no longer have the space to keep it.

BODYWORK AND PAINT

The bodyshell was stripped, professionally restored and fully renovated before receiving a complete repaint in Diamond White.

The restoration and repaint were undertaken by Terry Pankhurst of Dimma UK. The signed invoice records 240 hours of skilled labour covering the renovation of the bodyshell and the full repaint.

The restoration is supported by extensive dated photographs showing the work at different stages.

ENGINE AND MECHANICAL REBUILD

After the body restoration was completed, the car was carefully rebuilt, including installation of the engine and gearbox.

A substantial number of new and replacement components were purchased for the restoration.
