THE LISTING
About this vehicle
Hi, up for auction is yet another project that I’ll never get to start never mind finishing! It’s a 1990 XR4X4 with the 2.9 engine. I’ve had it running and driving and drove it onto the ramp where I took the pics. My first job was to remove the fuel tank as it was rusty and full of old petrol! That was about 12 months ago and I’ve not touched it since! I did however spend a fortune on parts for it that are all included in this sale. They include new fuel tank, 4 new shocks, 4 new springs, discs and pads for the front, track control arms and track rod ends. 2 full outer sills and both rear arches. It doesn’t need the rear arches or the full sills but there’s enough new panels there to make a nice job of it. It needs the rear half of the sills both sides doing and it’s had a dodgy looking repair on the N/S/R inner sill that would be easily fixed when the outer sill is off. I did take a video of the underside before I took it off the ramp that I can forward on. It will obviously need a thorough going through as it’s been dry stored unused since 2012. The body and paint is great for a car this old but will need bits and bobs, but definitely don’t need a full respray. Yes this is a project so I’ll selling it as spares or repairs but with the parts that come with it and a bit of time I don’t see it costing you much more. I’ve already got loads of projects on the go so can’t see me touching this again anytime soon. You will need a recovery truck with a winch to take it away. I’m going to let the auction run as I don’t need the money I just need the space! All I ask is if you win just come and get it and not mess me about. Thanks for looking and any questions just ask.Vehicle specification
