1990 Nissan Pulsar GTIR IVORY (KJ7) RB EditionSeries 1A ( 1 of 582 made worldwide by Nissan)Genuine RB lightweight rally model (vin plate checked)SR20DET AWD(AROUND 50 RB'S LEFT IN THE WORLD)I'm on the fence about selling it. Some days i look at it and cant wait to build/ restore it, other days when i see it sat there, i think that its best to get rid as its taking up space in my workshop and atm i don't have time to get into another build, let someone else enjoy it. very mixed emotions about it.
Barn/garage find. This car has been left dry stored for the last 15years. I have not put even a spanner to it, not even washed it.
Mileage approx 120 thou miles ( mix of KM and MPH being an import ). The last recorded mot expired in 2010. There is a discrepancy with the mileage of around 20k, this is because its had a replacement clock, I have both the original clock and the replacement one here, so nothing to hide.
issues to note:- engine cranks with good compression but there is a snapped/broken fuel line and therefore leaks fuel and doesn't start. Also id advise full service before starting to ensure no damage is done to the engine because it hasn't ran for a while.- unfortunately apparently the car rolled into a wall upon removal of the vehicle, damaging the front bumper and bending the radiator, cosmetic only, chassis is good.
Good bits:- This is a genuine RB model. This being a lightweight rally version of the GTIR, limited production. - IVORY WHITE in colour, ask anyone, ivory is the best and sort after colour, and to find one that's an RB is very cool, very rare!- The car is complete, everything's present, so if your taking on this project your not going to have to worry about finding parts for it- Chassis looks good and straight. Engine bay is all original so no holes in the front inner wings for boost pipes etc, so ideal for an oem restoration.- Apart from aftermarket wheels, exhaust, air filter ( I have original airbox) , steering wheel ( I have the original steering wheel also) and custom custard yellow interior seats its bone stock so could easily be restored back to a factory OEM car.
This would make a fantastic restoration (youtube) build, its a very rare car, try find another ivory RB for sale?? you wont. Also it has great investment potential with values only going one way, this restored would be worth more than triple my asking price. JDM 90's market is crazy atm.
