THE LISTING
About this vehicle
1994 rover mini cooper spi. Has had a lot of work done to it, to make it look like a 1968 cooper, including a period registration plate. it has had many modifications that are true to the 1968 car, such as period rear lights, bootlid with drop down plate, twin tanks, rally type dash, external hinge doors (the hinges work) and sliding windows, front spot lights and bonnet catches, rally mirrors, 10" mini light alloys (I have the 4th one), rally type sump guard. looks amazing with period stickers and different shades of paint, great patina.comes with a set of retrimmed front seats (as pictured)
It is a genuine 1994 mini cooper, with all the modern running gear and the 1275cc spi engine.runs and drives but likely to need some new fuel etc, as has not been on the road for a while, although when warm, seems to run well.will drive onto a trailer though
In the main, it is very solid, however it does need a new passenger side outer sill (in my opinion) and some repair panels in the boot.
In short, a very rare opportunity to do a little work over the summer and have a usable one off cooper rather than have to do a full rebuild.
the floors are bare, so you can see the condition of everything, nothing to hide, it is on some ramps (as I was refitting the exhaust) so you can see underneath it if you want.
looking to move to a property with a small drive and no garage, so I need to sell a few of my cars.
