Welcome to my listing of a 1994 L reg Rover Mini SpriteOn reg check it shows as a Mini Sprite A- maybe it was an auto before I don’t know or care.
I’ve had this for approximately 10 years plus. I purchased this as I always wanted a mini, I have lost interest in this, give me a new car any day and I’ll be happy to work on it lol
Car polishes up nicely- however does have a few minor imperfections in the paint, the odd surface rust bubble and a little car park dent in the door. Car is not rusty or rotten. Rear drivers arch has a crack in it.
Old Skool Mini knows this car well, they did a few bits on it when they were based in Birmingham- serviced the suspension, did some steering components on it, servicing and carburettor tune etc…..
Car has had a new battery and starts first time every time, but could do with another ‘tune’.Rocker cover gasket was leaking/ seeping oil but I tightened the bolts as they were loose and that should stop now. ( a little drop occasionally not the marks in the photos on the drive ).The tyres are perishing however have at least 6mm depth all round
Genuine Sport pack unmarked alloy wheels with all new bolts.Bucket Mamba Sport seats which actually slide back and forth- I have been offered £250 for them if the new owner of the car wants to get rid of them.
The mileage showing on the speedo is probably 40 miles less than what’s showing on the MOT as I had to change the speedo cable and I had my gps device which I used to add the miles up on the MOT. A nice drive somewhere and it will tally back up.
The rev counter works when it wants- I’m heavy handed and don’t want to be removing Speedo to check the wiring on the back.
The car has been dry stored and I really only used it for local car shows etc….Car is a head turner, gets attention wherever it goes.
The car is ideal for an enthusiast or someone getting into cars.Wouldn’t take much to smarten her up.
Car comes with the reg shown in pictures- valued at £1250.
The car is water tight, no roof sag or anything.The lower sills have been painted black but look solid to me and the red is showing through again and in my opinion would look better if the black paint was removed. It’s very light coating not the under seal type paint/ spray.
The silver roof and mirrors compliment the look of the car.
Car has wide arch mouldings fitted which in my opinion look fine but I was able to get hold of ‘sport pack’ arches which will come with the car. The car will also come with a complete leather interior including door cards and dash top. Car will also come with loads of bits and bobs which I have accumulated over the years- easily worth a grand or more.
Car can be delivered at cost to the buyer anywhere in the UK. First to see will buy.
