Standard running gear, no power boost trickery required, its fast enough as it is!

Full gearbox rebuild 6 yrs ago (at Esprit Engineering), the shift change is positive and precise. Clutch and cables also replaced at the same time as the gearbox was done, with the car only having done around 1,750 miles since then! 

Present owner for the last 5 years who is a genuine Lotus-nut, has now taken a good car into a different league altogether.  Replacement alloy fuel tanks and recently 2x new fuel pumps. Extensively maintained by PNM having had a full new suspension and big brake upgrade from them (highly recommended).

It has the very rare and desirable staggered OZ Futuras wheels (all in immaculate condition) with matching Falken tyres all round (235 17’s at the front 285 18’s at the rear)

The bodywork is in super condition – albeit with some minor stone chips on the front and around the side pods. There is no crazy-paving on the panels. It has been cherished, loved and pampered with a recent ceramic coat detailing so it looks absolutely resplendent.

The engine plenum cover was re-powder coated around 6 years ago and still looks fresh and new today, given the tiny mileage it has covered since.

Inside, the leather is in excellent condition, fed and treated annually, it remains supple and is free from any rips or tears. There is some bolster wear on the driver's side seat from getting in and out - but this is only to be expected I'm afraid. 

The wood facia does have a bit of fading on it but nothing that is falling apart or has fallen off!

Being a perfectionist, I am not satisfied with just the bodywork being clean, the underside has been attended to with a dry-ice clean and the chassis has been Dinitrol-treated so the underside is preserved and looking as good as the rest of the car.

It is kept under a car cover in a collection with my other cars, with the battery on continuous trickle charge and it’s a car which is only taken out in the fine weather.

The car comes with lots of invoices, 3x keys and a wonderful V8 soundtrack!
