Audi S8 D2 Final Edition individual spec with stunning purple interior

 Relisted due to non paying bidder.

If you don’t like purple, you probably won’t like the interior! It has the super supportive sports interior with fully electric adjustable Recaro leather seats with drivers memory

Spec wise If you know these cars, you will be aware that this is the final spec of the Ronin shape, and came with Final edition 8.5 x 20 inch 9 spoke alloy wheels as standard shod with Michelin Pilot Sport PS4 with 5-7mm of tread left.

The car has done 166,800 miles and is in good driving condition all round, not concours car, and it’s not priced as such. The car can be steadily improved by its next owner. We have many classics and do not need to sell the car for financial reasons, its not getting enough use unfortunately

- Coloured leather sports steering wheel with tiptronic transmission controls

- Dark Myrtle wood fascia, centre console & door trim

On top of the above, this example comes with heated front seats, large screen Audi Navigation Plus GPS system (rather useless nowadays), rear window electric blind, rear side windows blinds, tilt and slide sunroof, electric adjustable and heated power fold external mirrors (made of real aluminium), double glazing windows, front and rear parking sensors, original Audi detachable towbar.

Finished in silver, There are some age related marks/scratches on both bumpers, two little dents on the doors, one little dent above rear right indicator lamp and on the front drivers wing.

Otherwise very shiny and solid. Considering the fact that all panels wear original paint . some of the scratches might polish out, there is a mark in front wing, which may be removable by a talented body shop without the need for  paint as alloy is softer than steel.

Some stone chips on the bonnet and bumper were treated with touch-up pen

By the rear wheel arches there is a clear plastic sticker to prevent gravel rash, this needs replacing on both side sides as it looks manky, as per the picture, I have spent 2 mins with a heat gun on one corner and there is good paint underneath, just needs removing carefully.

We bought the car in December 2024 and I’ve done 3,500 rapid miles in her.

In February 2021 at 163,000 miles it had all pulleys, cambelt and water pump replaced. Spark plugs (NGK) replaced at 158000 miles.

In October 2024 it has received a fresh 0w40 engine oil and oil filter, fuel filter and a pair of pollen filters. New viscous cooling fan clutch fitted made by BEHR (just in case...).

Brake fluid changed in October 2024.

Automatic transmission and torque converter rebuild at 123,000 miles by Stephens Engineering Automatics in Thundridge.

Since January 2025 we replaced the entire suspension system and replaced all the fluids in the car, including the gearbox and replaced the battery early 2026

It does come with a purple S8 steering wheel, which unfortunately Re coloured the wrong colour, it has the ability to change gear on the wheel too, but we have never fitted it

The sunroof works fine and we have cleared out the rear drains, however, I now don’t use the sunroof because it’s a 20+ year old car! 

All electrics work apart from the rear blind in the back window (needs a new motor)  The side blinds are manual in the rear

The stereo system is good, and the autochanger works fine, as does the sat nav, which works to roads 2002 and earlier  :-)

The engine and gearbox performs well and sounds great, it’s worth noting that if the car is left for more than one week, there is a tappety rattle for 2-3 seconds before the oil gets to where it needs to be

The S8 comes with 2 keys, plus valet key, Manuals, Service history, and is HPI clear.

MOT certificate valid till 18 September 2026, but we will put the car thorough an MOT prior to sale

It’s a rare spec S8 and will continue to increase in value

Depending on your view of purple interiors, this could be in either the camp!

Bad bits

Body is not perfect, please see pictures

The glovebox button broke recently which will need resolving, can be opened by hand

The phone is an old Nokia and I haven’t tried it.. but it is very cool

The tyres have good tread, but Northamptonshire potholes have made some marks in the sidewalls

Air on could use a re gas

The dash LEDs sometimes have a mind of their own, particularly the day date! The mileage side is ok
