Very unexpectedly back up for sale due to buyers wife throwing a wobbler!Bentley Turbo R 1993 , Massive History, Cannonball Look, Brilliant Fun.
I bought this a couple of years ago as a project to scratch a lifelong Turbo R itch.
It had not been used much by the then owner, and consequently did'nt run or drive properly.
It has a huge service history box of invoices,
A previous owner was BBC'S Alan Titchmarsh !!
I sent it into Hillier Hill in Olney to appraise and it was'nt too bad!
It had,new fuel pumps and extensive pipework replacement, Gearbox ECU replaced as it's the 4 speed box, it was stuck in limp mode, Now is perfect including sport mode,Drivers seat ECU , (known issue)s/hand headlampsNumerous smaller issues sorted
Over £9000 spent on repairs
Its been through 2 no advisory mot tests,,,
Climate control; is perfect!
4 excellent well in date Avon Turbospeeds
Balmoral green with Champagne and green interior.
The paint and body are pretty much original , So signs are showing, but not a rot box!
Thats why i went the fun cannonball run route rather than the old duffer polisher route!
The interior is lovely..
It goes like absolute stink, Great fun!
But will waft as well as you would imagine.
You need to own a car like this at least once in youre life...
The registration number is not included.Its an L registration
