Full years Mot September 2027 Being a Ghia comes with all the 80/90s creature comforts Electric Windows & Mirrors,Central Locking,Sunroof (perfect working order ) Heated front windscreen ect.Ford Stereo & Amplifier (Alpine Cd player fitted) but comes with the Ford stereo.1 key Lockset (including petrol cap) with 2 sets of keys.Car is in great condition and drives as good as it looks.Mileage is 135000 but you would think it was 35000 the way it looks and drives.Been fully serviced with new timing belt and new old stock ford exhaust also fitted.Been motd ever year for the last 21 years and NEVER failed an mot in these last 21 years look at the online history a handful of advisors over the last 2 decades.I don’t think the car has ever been welded (not that I can see) the underneath is fantastic,still retaining the original floor numbers.Engine is excellent pulls well for a 1.4 and the 5 speed box is also perfect.The upper body does have some imperfections being 36 years oldThe Back bumper has a few inch crack,both rear wheel arches have surface rust (not rot just surface rust) on them,front passenger door has some surface rust at the bottom.I have attached pictures of all of these so people can see for themselves.The Abs light came on yesterday don’t know why haven’t investigated it,I have misplaced the handbrake console,the heated front screen connectors are missing so would need to be bought and fitted for it to work.This is probably one of the most original Mk4 Ghia Escorts you will find.I have done over 1000 miles after buying this car in April from a friend who did 4000 miles in the 18 months he owned it,never let either of us down drives brilliantly for being nearly 40 years old.Would take this car to London and back tomorrow without even thinking about as it’s so reliable.CAR IS LOCATED 10mins from Glasgow AirPort
