FORD ESCORT XR3i Cabriolet decided to put up for sale had 4 1/2 years spent quite few pounds but car has always started might have to charge battery up now and again but this year has not been used hardly at all not been to any shows so maybe time to sell. Brief history car is a bit of a rarity as valuation can be seen in photos and log book Ford Escorts were produced and sold from October 1983 sold as 1600i mine is August 1983 registered as a XR3i got matching vin plates under bonnet and in cab by drivers seat and matching engine number for year of car not tried to trace back ?? The car was last moted 3 years ago then put in on historic save moting and taxing it as said always starts has a 4 branch and larger exhaust put on 2/3 years ago which sounds nice Negatives paint ok but no where near concourse few bubbles, prior to my ownership the guy I brought from had no service history so have receipts for all I’ve done gear change little floppy brought another selector section never got round to fitting will supply with car.Car is located in Bracknell Berkshire Just remember its a 43 old car not perfect but very useable classic if in doubt come an view Will accept cash or bank transfer car released when funds showing Must make contact within 24 hours of auction ending to secure For interest car uses one key for all locks and ignition yes does have electric hood which works needs slight help going down.
