A trully stunning example Escort XR3i Mk4 1988 with just 65942 miles . Finished in immaculate diamond white with contrasting factory upholstery and factory fitted tilt , slide sunroof. The car has immaculate straight panelwork with paintwork to show standard and starts ,runs and drives beautifully and still feels very tight with no rattles etc. Looking over the car it has obviously been previously restored to an excellent standard and I can find very little signs of welding other than a front cross member repair and a very small repair near the seat mount on floor. I have had the interior side panels out to wax oil treat inside the cavities and I noted that the rear arches had been replaced to a good standard which is one of the common spots on these mk4s . Under the bonnet is also excellent including around the battery and innerwings and the front panel and front wings look to be original with original spot welds and sealer still. The interior upholstery is excellent with no damage as is the dash and carpets. There is a modern stereo fitted but I have the original ford unit with the car. The wheels have just been blasted and powder coated and 4 new tyres fitted. There is a sales invoice from Sleaford Ford Motor Company with the car along with old mots and some history. The car has a Magnex manifold and system fitted and sounds lovely. This is just a very brief outline of the car and viewing is highly reccomended to fully appreciate.
