THE LISTING
About this vehicle
Ford Sierra XR4i 2.8i – Black – B Reg – 41-Year-Old Classic – £8,500Please only bid if you commit to.buy saves timeThanksFor sale is my Ford Sierra XR4i 2.8i in black, B registration, with 35,655 miles displayed. Please note, the mileage is not warranted.
I have owned the car for approximately 5 years, but unfortunately illness is forcing me to sell.
The car is now 41 years old and, considering its age, is in good overall condition. It is not a barn find and has been used regularly, mainly at weekends.
Specification & Features
- Ford Sierra XR4i 2.8i- Black- B Reg- Factory sunroof- Electric windows- Alloy wheels- Rear spoiler- Classic XR4i styling- 35,655 miles displayed – mileage not warranted
Condition
The bodywork is generally good for its age. The paint on the driver's door has faded and would benefit from a respray.
The interior is also good for a 41-year-old car. There is a tear in the driver's seat and the driver's door card is slightly split.
The car was last MOT'd last year and is now tax and MOT exempt as a historic vehicle.
Items Requiring Attention
- Heater blower not working- Horn not working- Faded paint on driver's door- Tear on driver's seat- Slight split to driver's door card
These points are reflected in the asking price, and I would encourage anyone interested to view the car before bidding or purchasing.
The car has had 9 previous owners and has been in my ownership for around 5 years.
There are not many genuine Sierra XR4i's left, so this could make an interesting project for an enthusiast or someone looking to own one of Ford's iconic 1980s performance cars.
PRICE: £8,500
I may consider a part exchange for a small, cheaper car plus cash my way, depending on what is offered.
