About this vehicle

Up for sale is my Porsche 911 (964) 3.6 Turbo, I’ve inherited the car & it’s just not my cup of tea, it’s not practical for our family life, it’s a beautiful car & a lovely sentimental piece but unfortunately it’s just been sitting in the garage for the last couple of months. 

It not been an easy decision, as this was very much my dad’s car and something he took enormous pride in. He was incredibly particular about anything he owned, but especially this Porsche, and it was always looked after properly without cutting corners. 

I’m happy to do viewings on the weekends, or after 5:30 on weekdays. 

I didn’t know where to price it so I’ve put it up for auction to see where it goes, I’m happy for offers to sell before it ends.

The car has covered 59,100 miles and comes with a substantial history file built up over the years. It’s got all its Porsche service history & My dad kept everything — invoices, receipts, paperwork and records of the work carried out — so there is a really good amount of history with the car that shows how well it has been cared for throughout its life.

It has always been kept in a heated garage and, the car remains in excellent condition. The bodywork and paintwork present beautifully, there is no rust, and it is still a car that has definitively been cherished rather than simply used and I feel like it’s sat in the garage being forgotten about… 

The interior has been equally well cared for and remains in fantastic condition for its age. Everything works as it should, and there is nothing about the car that feels neglected or tired.

The MOT is valid until October,  so the car is ready to be sold too its next owner, its last service was last September. 

I’m not a Porsche expert & I don’t know much about cars.  I don’t know every technical detail about the car, but I have seen the car for many of years & I know exactly how much care my dad put into keeping it right. It was never treated as just another car and was always maintained whenever anything needed doing, all the maintenance was done through Porsche. 

We would genuinely like to see it go to someone who will enjoy it and look after it properly. It has been a very special part of our family for a long time, but it simply isn’t getting the use it deserves anymore, and we feel it is better for someone else to take it on and enjoy it rather than leave it sitting in the garage.
