Rare Toyota Supra MK3 3.0 Turbo (Import) With Aerotop Roof, and digital dashboard.Ongoing project, I bought this expecting a quick fix as a pre mot didn’t show anything I couldn’t sort out. A later compression test showed issues, which lead me to remove and rebuild the engine. Rebore and new oversized pistons fitted, new big ends and main bearings. Clyinder head was cracked so a second hand one sourced, then overhauled by a local Engineer, refitted with metal gasket and ARP bolts.Front subframe removed and new poly bushes fitted. All new brake discs pads and fuel lines fitted. Rear subframe the same, but while the rear subframe was out, I found some botched weld repairs and more rust. These have subsequently been readdressed by another local Engineer. The car is running smooth and has been MOT’d. However the bodywork needs further attention and will require a full respray. I’m just not interested in it anymore so it is time for someone else to finish off. I have only done about 40 miles since the MOT, and cannot therefore cannot guarantee any of the work carried out.
