About this vehicle
Astra GTE Cabriolet 2.0 8v.4 prev owners only . 1st owner in 1989 had it 1 year.2nd owner had it 1 year . The 3rd owners (an old couple) had it for 31 years until they passed away in 2021. The Son of the owners then stored it in his garage until 2025 when it was MOT’d and prepared for sale. I bought it a few months ago .The long term owners did not use it much at all but MOT’d it every year .You can check online the MOT/MILEAGE history from 2006 online. Unfortunately the older chap I bought it could not find the paperwork for the car that his parents had amassed ! If he had found it id be asking A LOT more money for it . You can see from the online history its been used every year but sparingly . As soon as I got it I had it serviced , pads , new oil breather pipe , cambelt waterpump and fan belt . Rocker cover gasket and a couple new sensors . I work at euro car parts so i was literally buying anything I could get my hands on even if the car didn't need it . Paintwork is a bit tired , bubbly and flat in places. I just had the plastic trims painted as they were white !Drives well and is very nippy . Very clean inside apart from a hole in the passenger seat (fag burn in 1996!) and a hole in the carpet. Inside of roof could do with cleaning .Interior heater fan a little noisy and only blows hot air onto the windscreen and not towards the driver for some weird reason . Few bits of rust around but it is 37 years old ! Power steering pump a bit squeaky on full lock . I have not taken the roof down yet either so not sure how good/bad that is !Fuel gauge shows empty . I think it might be the float because the unit has power and its lighting up on the dash so not electrical . A few other imperfections commensurate with its age .The plastic clip thats holds the bonnet rod needs replacing .All in all a good low mileage Astra Gte.Actually goes really well ! A bit of time and tinkering and this could be a really good car. Its 37 years old though so be realistic when viewing .

Long MOT , 2 keys . Receipts for the work I have had done (over £1500) and a full CARCHECK printout with the cars history and mileage at each MOT test.
Im selling all 3 of my classics as debts and bills are getting out of control so needs must !!
The Astra is booked in to a garage in a weeks time as there is a slight wobble on the steering. Its booked in to have new steering rack polyurethane mount bushes (all 4) and also new outer tie rod ends with tracking and balancing . Please note I wont sell the car until this is done so bear thats in mind when offering / buying .
Very reluctant sale on all 3 of my cars that are all on ebay.
