THE LISTING

About this vehicle

2.5 V6 engine (X25XE); fitted 6 gear transmission (“Getrag” F28/6) Colour is officially silver but actually has a nice subtle gold sheen to itI have a full-service history since I bought it in 2021, and the extended service history from the previous owner.Current mileage 123116Just passed MOT - valid until Nov 2026. It has been regularly and properly maintained and servicedThis was my project, but due to work commitments I need to pass it on to another enthusiastHere is the list of some of the main specs and upgrades done so far: *It has had all the standard bits done, ContiTech Timing Belt Kit and water pump etc*Just very recently whole new firing system; incl new ignition coil, new ignition amplifier module, new performance HT ignition leads, new Bosch spark plug set *Brand new “Bosch” battery (S5 008 12V 77Ah 096 S5008 - highest grade that can be fitted) *New “Friedrich Motorsport” stainless steel exhaust downpipe includes both engine manifolds custom made in Germany with all new gaskets (cost nearly £1500) *New alternator, Idle air control valve, Top end gasket set, OEM rear shoe backing plates, Outer ABS ring nearside rear, Front brake discs, Nearside front driveshaft *Most of the engine hoses were changed for new performance grade (see photos) *Custom fitted “Clifford” alarm with immobilizer *New “Auxito” LED bulbs (full beam, dipped beam, reverse, break) *Fitted Vauxhall VXR220 “MOMO” leather steering wheel with airbag*The car was lowered but unsure the size of the coils *Front and rear fog lights *Dual zone climate control ACC (not functioning due to missing compressor pipe) *Full leather seats *Heated front seats *Alloy wheels *”Toyo” tires are in good condition now approximately 4000 miles *Electric windows and mirrors *Electric sunroof window *CD/Radio player *Subwoofer (disconnected atm) *Heated rear mirrors*New Bosch front and rear wiper blades *3 Keys + 2 alarm remote controls + new spare batteries *New spare set of all engine gaskets and seals; (still sealed), (please see the photos) I will also supply Dual Action Orbital Car Polisher (barely used) with accessories and lots of detailing fluids. The car is still running in perfect order. There was a major engine overhaul done a few years ago by one of the previous owners who is a mechanic that owns a well-established company. Unfortunately records of these were lost but I can provide contact and he would be happy to discuss all aspects in detail. Other information:Bodywork has some minor flaws as you would expect of a car of this age that is still used and enjoyed. It has some minor corrosion to the body, marks, and scratches (please see the photos). There is also a bit of corrosion at the bottom of the car.The car is parked outside and exposed to the weather, but kept clean and tidy. The interior and leather seats are in good condition. Every aspect of the interior and dashboard (all buttons, lights…etc) works fine.I have decided not to resolve these issues as it would take time and resources. These issues are minor, and I would appreciate only serious discussions with someone who would appreciate this car as a possible project as lots of work has been done and it would be a shame not to continue and get it back to all its former glory. Please contact me when interested and I can answer all questions or provide more details or photos. Price is a reasonable £5000 for a car of this spec. But open to sensible offers. I would appreciate no silly comments regarding the price, there is a reason for it. I’m based in Reading, Berkshire
