About this vehicle
Here is my beautiful 1995 850 T5 SE automatic saloon. Colour is blue green paint code 412. Only 6 owners from new and only 135362 miles. Service history up to 82865 miles. Original owners handbook and Haynes manual. Comes with set of T5 wheels, need refurb, nivomat rear shocks, don't leak, 850r front bumper needs repair, camshaft locking tool and a few other bits. When I bought it it had been parked up for 5 years and regularly started and driven up the driveway. Engine and gearbox are perfect. Last owner had replaced water pump and timing belt before he took it off the road. Due to the timing belt being done more than 5 years ago I decided to replace timing belt, old one looked mint. It was fitted with a genuine Volvo water pump, has Volvo written on it, and I replaced both front camshaft seals. Has had pcv system replaced and all vacuum lines. New distributor cap, rotor arm spark plugs. Has Rica ecu fitted by previous owner, original ECU comes with car. It has bilstein b4s fitted all round, replacing the original nivomat shocks which also come with the car. New lower control arms and track rod ends also fitted, new bottom engine mount, new offside drive shaft, new windscreen with sunstrip,Brand new Japan racing jr 11 17 inch bronze wheels fitted with brand new sportmax tyres. Set of T5 wheels also come with the car. New calipers front and back fitted with Predator brake pads, new drilled and grooved discs front and back, mintex. Home made 3 inch cat back exhaust, sounds awesome, stainless. When working on the car I also removed all the inner wheel arch liners to check bodywork, found to be v good condition, whilst they were off I waxoiled the chassis and underneath wheel arch liners. Also inspected the other trouble spot on 850s chassis rails and rear suspension top mounts , these where also very good, waxoiled these also. Sills also excellent. Only thing the car wants body wise is 2 front wings, possible repair or replacement, they are a bit scabby. Bought some premixed rattle can 412 paint for replacement wings. Odometer works perfectly which is quite rare for an 850. For an old girl she still looks fabulous, not perfect but she is nearly 32 years old. She spins wheels for fun and is surprising quick, auto box is smooth and the engine is a gem, no smoke or strange noises. Been chasing a v small oil leak which I found today, its the turbo oil return pipe o ring, I have ordered a gasket and oring and this will be fixed before sale. Also bought braided brake lines, these will come with car. All in all a v fast brilliant handling classic which are getting extremely rare, there are less than 10 850 T5 se automatic saloons and only 1 1995 which is this one.
